After that account manager gets a new client onboarded, runs an SEO audit, and creates an SEO roadmap for the client, they then have to assign each action item from the audit to another department in the organization. Your account manager will probably pass your pagespeed issues off to their technical SEO manager, who will then pass it off to one of their underlings. Your account manager will pass on any content writing to the agency’s writing team. Then, the person will take any UX issues you might have and pass those onto their User Experience manager, who passes it on to someone below them. And, so on and so forth with each action item on your audit.
Once all of your SEO problems have been properly assigned to numerous departments, now your account manager has to wait for each department to get back to them with the completed work. This can be a huge problem as agencies grow, as each department will have hundreds of clients to manage.
